This Specification covers a statistical sampling planfor lot inspection by attributes. It verifies that thecustomer's specified quality level (SQL) is not beingexceeded. The estimate of fraction nonconformingdetermined by EIA Interim Standard No. EIA-554 is usedto select the optimum sample plan for verifying that agiven lot meets the specified quality level (SQL).
