This standard specifies the scope, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, sign, packaging, transportation and storage of rock wool thermal insulation products for building applications.

This standard is applicable to rock wool products used in the building envelope, building components and floor in the purpose of thermal insulation.

This standard is not applicable to rock wool products for exterior thermal insulation composite systems
