SPC GB/T 1220-2007 specifies the dimensions, shape, technical requirements, measurements and acceptance regulations, packaging marking and inspection documents for stainless steel bars (the collective term for steel bars with the shape of round, square, flat, hexagonal and octagonal, hereafter referred to as steel bars).

This Standard applies to hot rolled and wrought stainless steel bars with dimensions (diameter, sidelength, thickness or opposite side distance, hereafter referred to as dimensions) of no greater than 250 mm.Hot-rolled and wrought stainless steel bars with dimensions bigger than 250 mm can also be supplied upon the agreement between manufacturer and purchaser.
