THIS PAPER DESCRIBES HOW THE PROPERTIES OF CERAMIC ALUMINUM OXIDE COMPARE WITH FUSED ALUMINUM OXIDE. THE PERFORMANCE OF ALUMINUM OXIDE MADE BY BOTH PROCESSES ALSO IS COMPARED WHEN USED IN BELT GRINDING UNDER VARIOUS GRINDING CONDITIONS.
