1.1This specification covers calcium silicate block and pipe thermal insulation for use on surfaces with temperatures between 80 and 1700F (27 to 927C), unless otherwise agreed upon between the manufacturer and the purchaser.

1.2The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.
