1.1This specification covers thermoplastic chlorinated polyethylene (CM) compounds suitable for use as an outer covering or jacket on electrical cables.

1.2These jacket materials are suitable for use on cables which will be installed at temperatures above-35C.

1.3The values stated in inch-pound units are regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.
