1.1This test method covers a laboratory procedure for determining the tensile adhesive strength of a preformed tape sealant. The type of failure can be determined, and the degree of cohesive/adhesive failure can be estimated.

1.2The values stated in metric (SI) units are to be regarded as the standard. The values given in parentheses are provided for information purposes only.
