Purpose. To measure the hydraulic pressure in the power steering return hose(s) during an engine cold start simulation event.

Applicability. This procedure is applicable to all vehicles with a Hydraulic Power Steering System.

Remarks. This test provides information for selection of return hose type and the connection style for securing the return hose to the pipe.
