Description / Abstract: This International Standard provides terms and definitions, requirements for identification and labelling, applicable processes, and relevant information for remanufactured components for earthmoving machines.

Remanufacturing is performed by the original equipment manufacturer or its associates, or a formally authorized entity.

This International Standard applies to remanufacturing for reuse of components for earth-moving machines as specified in ISO 6165. This standard could be used for all types of off-road machines.
