ISO DIS 20140-5

Description / Abstract: This part of ISO 20140 specifies the types of data and their attributes used for evaluating the environmental influence of manufacturing systems based on the general principles described in ISO 20140-1. Additionally, it provides recommendations for mapping the environmental influence evaluation data onto information models for manufacturing systems specified by IEC 62264.

This part of ISO 20140 applies to discrete, batch and process manufacturing.

This part of ISO 20140 is applicable to entire manufacturing facilities and to parts of factory.

The following are outside the scope of this part of ISO 20140:

- the product life cycle assessment;

- EIE data which are specific to a particular industry sector, manufacturer or machinery;

- the acquisition of data;

- the activity of data communication.
