Description / Abstract: This document specifies Face-to-Face Speech Translation designed to interoperate among multiple translation systems with different languages. It also specifies the speech translation features, general requirements and functionality which is a framework to support a convenient speech translation service in the face-to-face situation. The scope includes description of user interface for speech translation and communication protocols for a set-up of the translation session among users. This document excludes defining speech translation engine itself.
