ISO DIS 8000-63

Description / Abstract: This document specifies the stack that an organisation instantiates to measure the characteristics of processes for data quality management. This stack consists of goal, question, indicator and metric as the structure by which to conduct measurement of an identified characteristic of the process.

The following are within the scope of this document:

— the fundamental principles of process characteristic measurement;

— the structure of the stack for process characteristic measurement;

— the way in which the stack can support various approaches to assessing processes.

The following are outside the scope of this document:

— methods by which to perform analysis as part of process assessment.

This document can be used in conjunction with or independently of quality management systems standards, including, for example, ISO 9001.
