Description / Abstract: This part of ISO 20318-1 specifies classification, dimensions, quality and test methods for the hand-held mechanical pencils which hold and feed out a lead, and are used for general writing. The scope also includes a multi-function pen equipped with a mechanical pencil unit. However, those attached to the machinery instruments such as a plotter are excluded.
