Description / Abstract:
ISO 10110, composed of separate parts, defines a notational system to indicate design and functional requirements for optical elements and optical systems in technical drawings used for manufacturing and inspection.
This part of ISO 10110 specifies the indication of permissible levels for four classes of imperfections within optical materials: stress birefringence, bubbles and inclusions, homogeneity, and striae.
Tolerances may be applied either to a finished optical part, a finished system of optical parts, or to the raw material used to manufacture an optical part.
