Description / Abstract: This International Standard specifies quantitative challenge test methods for evaluating the antifungal activity of footwear and footwear components.

This International Standard is applicable only to footwear and components that claim to have antifungal (antimycotic) or antimicrobial properties.

WARNING — This standard does not include health and safety issues related to antifungal agents used in the treatment. The user of this standard should obey general requirements of biosafety and make appropriate regulations of health and safety.
