NFPA 80A addresses separation distances between buildings to limit exterior fire spread based on exterior openings and other construction features.

Among the changes in the 2007 edition areRevised definition of "noncombustible material" that uses the language in NFPA 220: Types of Building ConstructionChange in terminology from "automatic deluge water curtain" and "automatic outside water curtain" to "automatic exposure protection sprinklers systems".
