Full Description

NFPA 268 provides a test procedure to describe a method for determining the propensity of ignition of exterior wall assemblies from exposure to 12.5 kW /m2 radiant heat in the presence of a pilot ignition source.

The 2001 edition has been revised for easier referencing and improved usability. Some of the definitions were revised for clarification and the references for specific time periods for sustained flaming are now included in the main body of the text.
